What's new in BlogAmplify

Every change that reaches customers, with the day it shipped. Newest first.

Last updated

  1. Automatic article updates

    • Articles BlogAmplify published now get small, checked edits: a section or FAQ answer for searches Google shows the article for but it doesn't answer yet, what the top results cover when the article sits just off page one, an answer to a tracked AI question that still leaves you out, changed product prices and broken links.
    • Title, address and publish date never change. Every change is listed on Site Health with what changed and why, and can be undone for 30 days.
    • On by default, with at most 6 content updates a month per website. Switch it off in Article settings; Update this article on Site Health works either way.
    • Older Shopify and WordPress articles are matched to their posts again, so they can be fixed and updated in place.

Get listed, and articles losing traffic

    • Get listed finds list, comparison and resource pages worth getting your business onto, from Google's results for your articles' searches and, on Growth + AI Visibility, the pages AI answers cite. You get a pitch draft to send yourself, and a listing counts only when the page links to your site.
    • Articles losing traffic on Site Health: articles whose clicks, impressions or main keyword position dropped while the rest of your site held steady, with a button to update them.

Google results each week, and sharper plans

    • Each week Google's first page is read for your articles close to page one: who ranks above you, and whether Google's AI Overview cites you. When it quotes other sites and not you, the next update adds a short answer it can quote.
    • Who ranks and what we added: a card in the editor with the pages read before writing, what every good answer includes, where your article covers it and what it adds.
    • Plans measure search demand for every topic, judge difficulty against your own site's reach (with a badge on each topic), send topics your site already ranks for to that page, and leave out topics built on products you don't sell.
    • Leave the sitemap field empty and BlogAmplify finds the sitemap your site serves, and follows it when it moves.
    • The assistant can read Site Health, Get listed and Local search and act on them, with undo.
    • Site Health reads each new article at its own address minutes after it is published.
  2. Site Health

    • A health score and Domain Rating by Ahrefs, next to up to 5 competitors, both measured from where your site started.
    • A site audit of every page in your sitemap, with why each problem matters and how to fix it on Shopify, WordPress or other platforms, Validate fix, and suggested titles and descriptions.
    • Google's index status for your pages and weekly positions of your articles' keywords, from Search Console.
    • Fix it for me: broken or redirecting links in BlogAmplify's own articles fixed in place.
    • The score counts each kind of problem by how many pages it reaches, so a few real issues show instead of being averaged away.
    • The monthly report email now shows your site's progress.
  3. Better header images and more varied articles

    • Header images in your chosen style are used as made, without extra checks, so articles get a title card only when the image can't be made.
    • One product no longer turns up in most of a month's articles, and a site photo a recent article used isn't used again.
  4. Pay your way, and steadier sign-in

    • Pay in your own currency at checkout, and enter a discount code on the payment page.
    • Choose to pay now and skip the trial when you pick your plan.
    • A failed or abandoned payment no longer blocks trying again.
    • Signing in keeps working even when our login provider is slow to reach.
    • Articles never paste raw code: checklists and templates become tables or steps.
    • A first plan's first day holds its strongest topic, since that article is written straight away.
  5. Paid plans and workspaces

    • Growth and Growth + AI Visibility, each with a 3-day trial, plus extra websites and +30 articles a month. Upgrades, downgrades and cancelling happen on your billing page, with the exact amount shown before anything is charged.
    • Every website is its own workspace with its own plan, integrations, analytics and assistant, and shows its logo in the workspace switcher.
    • Choose a plan first, then set up your website.
    • On Growth + AI Visibility, content plans cover every question where AI leaves you out.
  6. AI visibility tracking and the assistant

    • Checks of what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode answer to the questions your customers ask: named, linked or left out, a score, goals for the questions you're missing, what AI says about you and where it gets its answers.
    • A short email when there's good news, like AI naming you for the first time.
    • The assistant: a chat panel that changes topics and articles, adds images and answers questions about your data, with undo for what it changes.
  7. A new article engine

    • Articles start from the top pages ranking for their search, with research that is checked against every source, then checks and revisions before publishing. See the methodology.
    • Articles are never held back: every written article publishes on its date, or is ready for you to publish.
    • Plans cover the next 30 days and are written for your main market, the country your customers are in.
    • Bing Webmaster Tools: new articles are sent to Bing, and Bing searches feed your plan.
    • Overdue articles never publish in a burst: catch up one a day, or skip them.
    • Republishing an article updates it in place, never as a duplicate.
    • A monthly AI visibility report on your dashboard, emailed in months with good news.
  8. Brand insights

    • Tell BlogAmplify what only your business knows, in Article settings, and articles use it in your own voice.
  9. Articles and publishing

    • The first article pipeline, publishing to Shopify, WordPress, Notion and any site by webhook, and a page listing your published articles.
